THE EISTEDDFOD EXHIBITION
Consisting of Photography, Senior Art and Craft, Junior Art and Craft, Literary Work, Needlework, Cookery, Floral Arrangement and Silk Painting will be held as follows at the Beau Sejour Leisure Centre:
Wednesday 30th March to Saturday 2nd April 2022
Wednesday to Friday 9am to 8pm - Saturday 9am to 5pm
The Guernsey Eisteddfod has been holding exhibitions for many years and has become part of Guernsey life. It is great to be able to support the Eisteddfod and keep it part of Guernsey tradition.
Having submitted entries to the Arts and Crafts section myself, I can say that it is very satisfying to see your work on show and to receive comments on whether you have achieved a high standard or how you can improve on what you have entered.
Outstanding entries in each class receive certificates and the best entry a Trophy.
Try it for yourself, there is nothing quite like receiving a Trophy for your efforts, either in the Art section which covers all forms of art from sketching to oils. Or in the Craft section where entries can be anything from assembling a plastic kit to making a full size boat.
